Yes, I admit it, I am a Cleo addict! I bought this dreamy cherry print denim and could not resist making another one. Thought this is my summer Cleo so I can justify making a third one.
This light-medium weight denim with some stretch is from M Rosenberg & Son (they stock a fabulous range of fabrics including printed denims) and they are my favourite fabric supplier. It is a light enough denim to wear for the summer. It would be incredibly uncomfortable to wear a heavier denim in this heat wave.
The dress is knee length although I omitted the front split as I cut this fabric on the fold (removing the centre seam allowance) so there is no centre seam. I think it looks better to do this when the fabric has a busy print. Cutting on the fold also makes this dress a quicker make so its a winner. I made a front top pocket and two patch pockets.
This is my last Cleo for now. It is my favourite sewing pattern and I do recommend it. Though this pattern will more than likely have you hooked especially when there are so many dreamy denims to choose from.
Happy sewing!
I specially like to have pockets in any garment. Pockets are very suited to this very pretty design.

The pockets are practical and look good too – utility chic at its best!
